A new favorite
Key Lime Pie is one of my favorite desserts but somehow I can never find a place that makes it right. Either it’s too tart, too sweet, too jiggly (if that’s even a word). I had given up on finding the perfect slice of Florida in Jersey until recently when I stopped by one of my favorite local spots, Cocoa Bakery, only to discover they make it! Obviously I had to try it and BANG, it was perfection at first bite. I may or may not have finished an entire slice in one sitting. No comment. P.S. that’s a peek at my new countertops for you.

Family Ties
This has been the Summer of family, from an extended trip in Florida, to my brother coordinating his visit to be with us, to my cousins from London visiting – I’ve been loving all the time Little Mirchi has gotten to spend with our loved ones. Here’s a recent picture of her with my cousin brother… it melts my heart to see how happy she gets when we have visitors.

Moving
We are in the final stages of moving to the new house and it’s been crazy running back and forth between places. I’m hoping for some sanity after the big move!
